Egyptian Wheat is member of the sorghum family and is known for its extreme height and excellent cover. It can reach heights of 8 – 12 feet.
Egyptian Wheat provides some food value at the tassel but is primarily used as a thick cover for wildlife. The wheat prefers warm temperature and moderate rainfall. To achieve desired height, high levels of nitrogen must be supplied.
